PacMan Arcade Game

Home > Typing Test > Games > Pacman Arcade Game
The age-old classic Free Online PacMan arcade game. The object of the game is to move around the small yellow blob (Pacman) and chomp up all the white dots. Oh, and watch out for Blinky, Pinky, Inkey, and Clyde - the four mean ghosties that are trying to eat you. When you pass over the large glowing white dots (eat them), you get super powers and the ghosties turn blue. While they are flashing you can eat them, sending their eyeballs floating back into their lair where they regenerate and come back. As your super power wears off, they start flashing white and blue which is a warning that they are about to revert back to their mean selves. Click PLAY GAME with your mouse to start the pac man game, then use your arrow keys to move Up, Down, Left and Right. Press "M" to Mute/Unmute sound, and "P" to Pause/Unpause the game. This game requires a browser that supports Flash.

Immensely popular from its first release through today, the Pac-Man arcade game is universally considered as one of the classics of the medium, virtually synonymous with video games, and an icon of 1980s popular culture. Upon its release, the game became a social phenomenon that sold a bevy of merchandise and also inspired an animated television series and a Top 40 pop single. By breaking out as a completely new style of non-violent game that appealed to both boys and girls (there was a feminine version called Pac-woman), it found massive success.
